Dakota Grappler Live: Ep #157 Special Guest Shauna Kemp

Jon and Bill will interview University of Jamestown women’s coach: Shauna (Isbell) Kemp is in her fifth season as head coach of the Jimmie women’s wrestling team.

In 2020-21, Kemp led UJ to a third consecutive KCAC conference championship, with seven Jimmies taking first place, two taking second, and two taking third. Kemp was named KCAC Co-Coach of the Year. At the NAIA Women’s Wrestling Invitational in Jamestown, the Jimmies finished seventh and had seven All-Americans.

Kemp was a member of the Team USA women’s wrestling team from 2012-13 and was the 2012 Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association national champion.

From Arizona, Kemp was a four-time girls state champion and became the first and only girl to place at 112 pounds at the boys high school state championship with a fourth place finish.
