Registration for the 2026 South Dakota Middle School State Wrestling Tournament is now open on USA Bracketing here: https://www.usabracketing.com/events/5e770954-f696-4650-9f59-2218e62b8a6f
The tournament will be held in Pierre on Sunday, February 15 and will be limited to approximately 500 wrestlers (boys and girls). Registration will close at 5:00 PM CST on Friday, February 6, or earlier, if the 500-wrestler limit is reached.
Important reminder: Per the SDHSAA & SD Middle School State Tournament Committee, wrestlers participating in SDHSAA High School Wrestling Region events are NOT eligible to compete in this tournament.
Weight-class split sessions will be announced after the registration deadline to help balance participation. This information will be posted on the SD Middle School State Facebook page and, if possible, on the USA Bracketing site.
Please refer to the attached flyer for complete tournament details. Coaches may request off-site weigh-in forms from Dustin (contact information is listed on the flyer).
AAU or USA Wrestling cards are NOT required for this event.
When registering, please list the high school team the wrestler will compete for or eventually feed into. Do NOT register under a wrestling club name or middle school name.
