Did the wrestlers get a pound/pounds allowance at the Brian Keck Memorial Pre Season Nationals?  Because I saw Pierce Hurd was in the finals at 106 pounds a couple months ago.  I imagine he will be the guy at 106 if he can make it down there.  Ace Godfrey is also ranked at 106 and 113.

Yes, you have to wrestle before you "get in" to the new rankings, so they know what weight to put you in, I believe. Once you are ranked, you can miss a few weeks and stay in the rankings, before they take you out, as kids get banged up or sick during the year. There were some kids that did not wrestle this weekend that will be ranked as mentioned above for various reasons. Kids will be moving around too with descension plans, team lineup changes etc.

A few hiccups here and there, but there's a lot of matches and results to go over. It's only week 1, and its nice for recognition but these polls aren't taken into account for anything other than its fun! A lot will sort out this week!

Would really help these guys with the spelling of Names if teams would have their roster on the SDHSAA before season starts.

There is 2 teams in he A's still with an empty roster. (Rapid City Central and Beresford/Alcester-Hudson)
