Very interesting!  How often does the SDHAA change Regional boundaries?  Is it even worth it?  Things could change quickly I presume.  I know its talked about amongstvfans and coaches.

Pretty sure it is more that 2 schools. Wessington springs Wessington Wolsey the rest of the alphabet had 2 champs. Parkston, prob has something to say about that as well as others. Not saying it should be changed. Class B region 3 has dominated for 40 years. Just saying more than 2 schools. Before that it was freeman, Parkston, Gregory BH, Scotland, Burke, Wessington Springs, Kimball Platte always had a few hammers as well.

You are correct.  I shouldn’t have called out only two schools as being more dominant than any other school out of that region.  It really doesn’t make sense to redraw the regions.  There are good kids that come out of different schools of each region, depending on the year.

look at how many kids are getting 4th place in their region and still placing at state…

 

Lyman got sent to region 3 this year they sent 0 kids to state… if they would have stayed in region 4 their coach said they would have sent 5….

one region shouldn’t be out scoring the others by 400 points

Could go to 2 regions top 8 go region 1&2 join region 3&4 join

the score of 1&2 added up versus 3&4 very close.

 

i would expect anyone not from region 3 to want to keep it how it is…

Region 1 had 30 players win places I believe, also had a player  from 12 different schools place.

But, I sure could of counted wrong.
