Has anyone ever done this ?

What specifically are you asking? There's another thread about state tournament results dating back to 1959, there's a thread on the top 10 wrestlers from the state including post HS, and there have been threads in the past on state records like career wins, career takedowns, ect. What are you looking for

This is from the Aberdeen American News in 2013:

State wrestling history impressive after split

Area towns dominated mat

John Papendick

Small-town teams from the Aberdeen area dominated when South Dakota high school wrestling split into two classes for the 1970-71 season.

High school wrestling in South Dakota started in the 1957-58 season. The state had just one class until it went to its current two-class system of A and B in 1970.

The State B Wrestling Tournament starts at 10 this morning at Wachs Arena in Aberdeen with the second session starting at 3:45 this afternoon with the parade of athletes. Saturday’s semifinals start at 10 a.m., the second session with the face-offs at 3:45 p.m. with the championship matches scheduled to start at 6:15 p.m.

Aberdeen-area teams won the first 15 State B team titles: Webster and Redfield (4 each), Faulkton (3), Mobridge (2) and one each for Groton and Miller. Webster has a total of seven State B titles. Redfield-Doland also has seven titles — six B titles and the 1959 state title when there was only one class.

Faulkton started this area’s B domination by winning the 1971, ’72 and ’73 State B titles. During those three seasons, Rick Michels won two individual titles for the Trojans, while Steve Heller, Tim Kuhl, Don Hanson, Don Bowar and Lynne Hammond each won one.

Here are some other memorable events since the State B tourney started in 1971:

  •  Sixteen of the 44 State B Tournaments have been held in Aberdeen, the most of any of the six host cities.
  •  In 1971, Marlin Harms of the South Dakota School for Visually Handicapped finished second in the 167-pound weight class.
  •  In 1996, Brock Lesnar of Webster finished third in the heavyweight division. Lesnar would go on to become the heavyweight national champion at the junior college and NCAA Division I levels, the heavyweight pro wrestling champion of the world and the Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion in mixed martial arts.
  •  In 1977, Duane Koslowski won the 185-pound title and his twin brother, Dennis, finished third at 167 pounds. Both wrestled for Team USA in the 1988 Olympics and Dennis also wrestled in the 1992 Olympics, earning a bronze medal in 1988 and a silver medal in 1992.
  •  Twin brothers Jim and Bill Scherr led Mobridge to 1980 title. Mobridge coach Rod Moon said another big key to his team's title was the performance of Al Lawrence, who won the 112-pound state title for the Tigers. Everybody looked past him, Moon said of Lawrence. Jim wrestled in the 1988 Olympics as did Bill, who earned a bronze medal.
  •  Former South Dakota standouts have posted some of the best all-time high school career win totals in the nation:
  •  In 2005 in Aberdeen, Garretson senior Dan Bonte set the high school national record for career wins with 268 after winning his fourth state title. He ended 268-15, breaking the record held by Cory Wallman, who went 264-8 for Marion-Freeman from 1990-95.
  •  In 2008, McCook Central senior Zach Blindert of Salem broke that record by compiling a 275-41 varsity mark without ever winning a state title.
  •  Logan Storley of Webster won six state titles from 2006-11 and compiled a 262-3 record during his high school career.
  •  In 1984, Freeman seventh-grader Kirk Wallman of Freeman won his first of six straight titles. Wallman was 201-0 in his career.
  •  Kirk Wallman started wrestling at age 4, and since the age of 5, he would never lose to another South Dakotan. Kirk’s brothers, Troy and Cory, would each win four state titles, as did their father, Gary. Gary also coached Webster, Freeman and Freeman-Marion teams to state titles.
  •  Philip senior Lincoln McIlravy won his fifth straight State B title at the 1992 tourney in Aberdeen. He won a bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics.
  •  Redfield won the 1991 team title, but the Pheasants did not have any individual champions. Second-place finishers Fred Osborn, Adam Roth and Joe Paulson led Redfield. Champion Howard accomplished the same feat in 1996.
  •  Kimball won the 1986 team title, led by brothers John and Dan Konechne, who come from a family of 15 children. The 1986 Kimball coach and 1973 Sisseton High School graduate Bob Johnson was proud of all of his team members: “Their hearts are the biggest part of their bodies.” The Konechne family has continued to played important roles in South Dakota wrestling to this day.
  •  In 2007 at Aberdeen, many State B wrestling fans recall Robert Kokesh of Wagner displaying one of the best cases of sportsmanship ever at Wachs Arena. The then-Wagner High School freshman was in the semifinals, leading his opponent 4-3 in the final seconds of the match. However, Kokesh’s opponent got a last-second reversal worth two points, a 5-4 victory and a spot in the state finals.
  •   Some observers in the full-house crowd thought it was the wrong call and started booing while the wrestlers hugged in the middle of the mat. When Kokesh heard the booing, he waved to the crowd to calm down. He then pointed to his opponent, and started clapping. The crowd followed his lead and started clapping. The wrestlers hugged again.
  •  College sophomores Logan Storley of the University of Minnesota and Robert Kokesh of Nebraska are two of the nation’s best 174-pound wrestlers.
  •  In 2002, Hoven-Cresbard senior twin brothers Joe and Jerry Clark won titles to end the season with a combined 98-2 record. Joe had never placed in the state meet before this year. Jerry said after their wins, “If I had won it and Joe hadn’t, it just wouldn’t of felt right.”
  •  From 1974-76, Dave Hofer of Sully Buttes would win three state titles and set a then state record by winning 96 consecutive matches.
  •  In 1983, Bart Wiley of Webster won his second state title. That gave his family a total of six state titles, as older brothers Mike (3) and Jon (1) won championships for the Bearcats as well.
  •  There were dual team tournaments held between 2001-2004 won by Howard, Bon Homme and Parkston twice.
  •  Wayne Willuweit of Burke was first three-time State B champ winning titles in 1971 through 1973.
  •  In 1998 in Aberdeen, Hannon Hisek of Bon Homme won his fifth straight state title.
