If you are talking about the 5th place match result at 132 here is the reasoning. You can only rank 4 guys per region, since only 4 kids from each region can qualify for state. Each year there are kids from each region that could be rated higher than kids from other regions that are ranked, but since each region qualifies the top 4 for state, that is the way the points have to be figured across the board. Hope that makes sense.

That's a good explanation, otherwise Mortrude would probably be @ 8th. Just like not ranking 2 kids from one school, you can't have more than 4 from a region compete at state, so not having him on the rankings makes sense. Probably doesn't happen super often
