Good morning, warriors! Itβs time to shake things up and bring some energy to your morning workouts! Here’s a killer routine to get you moving, plus a fun twist to keep things fresh.Β Exercises all can be done from home!
Morning Routine Breaker:
- Warm-Up (5 mins):
- Dynamic stretches (leg swings, arm circles, lunges).
- Get your blood flowing with some jump rope or shadow wrestling.
- Strength Circuit (20 mins):
- Push-Ups (3 sets of 15-20 reps).
- Bodyweight Squats (3 sets of 20 reps).
- Plank Holds (3 sets of 30-60 seconds).
- Burpees (3 sets of 10 reps).
π₯ Twist: After every set, crank up a song from your favorite pump-up playlist and break out a quick dance or freestyle shadow wrestling! Let loose and have fun with it.
- Speed and Agility (10 mins):
- Sprint Intervals (sprint for 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds; repeat 8 times).
- Lateral Shuffles or Cone Drills for agility work (3 sets of 30 seconds).
- Cool Down (5 mins):
- Stretch it out, focusing on flexibility with hamstring stretches, neck rolls, and deep breathing.
Add Some Music π§:
- Add a motivational playlist to keep the energy high! Songs like βEye of the Tigerβ, βLose Yourselfβ by Eminem, or even some high-energy rock or hip hop tracks can push you further.
- Pro tip: Change up your playlist weekly to keep things fun and new!
Something Fun:
- Challenge yourself or a teammate to a quick obstacle course after your workout or a 2-minute wrestling scramble to see who can pull off the most takedowns or reversals.
